Chip Frederickson is a graphic designer and lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hempfield Area School District in Greensburg in 2019 and received his BFA in Graphic & Interactive Design from Point Park University in Downtown Pittsburgh in April of 2023.
Chip had a total of 3 years (2 half years and 2 full years) of graphics classes in High School before starting at Point Park. During High School he learned aspects of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as how to weed vinyl and use a laser engraver.
During Chip’s 4 years at Point Park, he learned how to use Adobe Indesign, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, and after effects.
During the Fall Semester of his senior year, Chip had an internship with Stanwood Area FCU in New Stanton PA. The main focus of the internship was rebranding the Credit Union. This meant creating new logo(s), promotional materials, etc.

As a freelancer, Chip has created logos for several local businesses. He has also created shirt designs for different theatre productions performed by the Hempfield Area Theatre Company, as well as other businesses and individuals.
He has also had the opportunity to photograph many events locally and outside the state. These include, but are not limited to, the 2023 Hempfield Area Graduation, 2022 & 2023 Greensburg Holiday Parade, as well as several sporting events at Duke University in Durham North Carolina.
During the 2024 football season, he had the pleasure of being the photographer for the Duke Cheer team and could be spotted on the sidelines during every home game. In addition to this, he was credentialed and on the sidelines of the Duke vs. Ole Miss game at the 80th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl in Jacksonville Florida.
