Over the years I have created many t-shirt designs for different organizations. Some of these shirts were printed, but many stay only in the digital realm.
The above shirts were concepts I presented to my high school band director. On Fridays during football season, the football players and cheerleaders wore their uniform tops to school. The idea behind this design was to have the band do the same thing, but in a more comfortable way. The shirt could also be used when the band is traveling or performing but not wearing their uniforms.
The above shirt was the design I submitted in the Trip T-shirt design contest my Senior year. The band was going to Disney and Universal and I wanted to depict this on the back of the shirt. I didn’t win the contest, but was told that I lost by only a few votes.
I created this design my Senior year after the sudden and unfortunate passing of one of the District’s beloved 4th grade teachers Mrs. Kathy Soisson. I was fortunate to have Mrs. Soisson when I was in 4th grade. Shortly after her passing, I was talking with Mrs. Audrey Dell, the elementary principal at the time, and she mentioned to me that the school was planning on having shirts made to honor her. I was beyond honored when Mrs. Dell asked me if I wanted to design them.
This shirt design was created for the band Seniors. I presented the idea of having shirts made to the Band Director about mid-way through my Junior year. He told me that he thought it was a good idea and that senior classes in the past had shirts made. The shirts were printed by a local company called Off-the-Wall Graphics.
